2011 WC Mascot unveiled
The mascot for ICC Cricket World cup 2011 was unveiled in Colombo, Sri Lanka on April 2nd.
“Appu”, who was the mascot for 1982 Asian Games held in Delhi, was chosen once again for the role for 2011 WC to be held in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh next year.
The name for the mascot is not yet announced though. It seems World Cup organisers are going to run a contest for public to pick on his name.
